They are well made and tight fitting with counter-sunk holes along the plate for visible and secure screw-fixingnnThese are designed to be used horizontally and vertically and have a round knob on the handle for easy and comfortable grip when securing the bolt into place. These straight nickel door bolts are a great way to add extra security to your doors and the bright polished finish reflects the light, to really brighten door waysnnThe Cardea Polished Nickel finish is a solid brass plating and will generally require little maintenance as nickel is a relatively slow ageing metal. To maintain the finish we recommend wiping the item with a micro-fibre cloth to remove dirt deposits and polishing with a good quality metal polish. The application of a light wax after cleaning can be beneficial but is not essential.
